It all began in January 2022 when the "Felgenoutlet Dresden", the market-leading online retailer for rims and complete wheels, planned a campaign to benefit the Würzburg children's cancer aid station. Together with Otto Ellmauer, who has dedicated his life to helping children with cancer, they wanted to contribute to his 2022 auction Christmas calendar. Since aluminum rims and tires probably wouldn't have gotten THE amount due to the different approvals and dimensions, the idea came up to build a rim table together with a Dresden carpenter and to offer it for auction.
